La Miniatura is the first of four textile block houses build by Frank Lloyd Wright in the Los Angeles area during the 1920's. Located in a deep ravine in the Arroyo section of Pasadena, it is the smallest and most romantic of the four. The concrete blocks were cast on site utilizing wooden molds and sand from the site itself. "I would rather have built this small house than St. Peter's in Rome." Frank Lloyd Wright
