An original design that encompasses conventionalized Black Eyed Susan flowers. In additional to this flower’s distinct color, its center is another distinct feature, and the colors and texture are captured by working several French knots in deep taupe and dark brown. The kit includes linen with marked design, DMC pearl cotton threads, chenille needle and written and illustrated instructions for working the design in full embroidery on natural Irish Linen using the satin stitch, stem stitch and French knots. Olive green is worked within the leaves in satin stitch, and brown thread and yellow thread are worked side by side in the stem stitch to create the stems.
