Some believe that when a bluebird appears good news will be arriving soon. In our neck of the woods, it is certainly the case that bluebirds are a harbinger of fine weather, which is definitely good news! Here, a free-handed rendering of bluebird, blossoms, and branches occupy a circular band on the top of a low bowl form. This unusual design is meant to be seen from above, and so, perfect as a cheerful addition to your spring dining or side table.
No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics. Because we lean away from technologies like molds, templates, and casts, each piece is wholly unique. Minor variations in size, decoration, color and finish are intrinsic to our pottery. Please expect and embrace the variation inherent in our process.
