I've been obsessed with birds recently.
Have you heard the red-winged blackbirds chirp? I love listening to their calls to each other in marshes and wetlands and seeing the flickering red patches on their wings as they fly by.
This woodblock print was printed on acid-free 100% cotton Strathmore paper. 9 printing blocks were hand-carved and we hand-printed one color at a time on our Vandercook printing press.
