This eye-catching enamel bangle celebrates William Morris's (British, 1834–1896) whimsical Strawberry Thief, an iconic printed textile registered in 1883 and printed between 1917 and 1923 at Merton Abbey Tapestry Works near Wimbledon. The beloved botanical motif was derived from Morris's country home, Kelmscott Manor, where a community of thrushes would relentlessly pluck the strawberries from his garden.
