Volume 2: The Natural Pattern of Structure
From 1990 to 1991, a year-long statewide event took place in Arizona entitled "Arizona Celebrates Frank Lloyd Wright." The event - a series of exhibitions, lectures, symposia, and architectural tours - was organized by a consortium of Arizona Institutions, including the Phoenix Art Museum, the Scottsdale Cultural Council, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesin West, the Tucson Museum of Art, the Arizona State Capitol and Arizona State University. The university hosted two symposia: "Frank Lloyd Wright: Broadacre City" (2 February 1991) and "Frank Lloyd Wright: The Natural Pattern of Structure" (20 April 1991). These symposia explored aspects of Frank Lloyd Wright's contributions to America's design heritage, ranging from his comprehensive vision for city planning and urban design to his personal vocabulary of ornamentation and pattern. This is Volume 2 of 2.
