From The Art Institute of Chicago
By John Vinci. With a foreword by Pauline Saliga
The Trading Room now is overseen by the Department of Architecture at the Art Institute which, in 1986, organized "Fragments of Chicago's Past," a permanent exhibition of terracotta, plaster, cast-iron and glass fragments from other significant Chicago buildings that have been altered or demolished. It is their hope that these poignant reminders of our lost architectural heritage will encourage the preservation of our remaining treasures.
Good condition. Some discoloration on back cover from previous pricing sticker.
