The design for my reindeer ornament was inspired by the artistry of Edgar Brandt, an iron worker from the art deco period. His elegant, leaping gazelle decorates an iron gate that he made in 1925. For years, this sculpture has given me a great deal of pleasure. I found it interesting to study the visual history and numerous variations of the famous reindeer theme. As you can see, my version is quite sleek and contemporary. What could be more magical than the sound of eight tiny reindeer dancing on your roof?"
