Our gorgeous wooden boxes were designed by local architect and designer Miller Fong. Created in celebration of the Gamble House Centennial, we have recently discovered a few that had been tucked away. Available in-store and online on Museum Store Sunday (11/30/25 at 10am).
About the artist:
Architect and designer Miller Fong was born in Los Angeles in 1942. He graduated as an architect from USC and later joined the family business, Fong Brothers Company, whose focus was on hand-made craftsmanship, tradition and innovation. He was instrumental in some of the firm's most iconic pieces- his famed woven wicker Lotus Chair is on permanent display at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Miller and his wife Jetty are founding members of Friends of the Gamble House.
