• One-of-a-kind: The burn-out velvet pattern of rosettes-with-thorny-branches is called devorè because we are devouring or removing some of the fabric. The backing is sheer silk dyed black. The shimmering rayon pile with contrasting red and green dyes is hand-painted.
• Washable: This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle will make it softer. A hot dryer will make it fluffier. It may be ironed on the reverse side.
• Measures 13"'x60" (35cmx157cm): The sewn hems are rolled-edges.
• The fabric is 50% silk and 50% rayon.
• All natural materials make it luxuriously soft.
